Hello everyone! week numero diez is upon us! And we all keep on singing along! Well...maybe not me. You see, I suck at singing so much, I give my own self ear infections! In fact, if I want to turn men off, when I start singing their boners go down as they get scared and run away. So, what has taken place this week? Well, Pope Francis was hospitalized with double pneumonia. I'm a Christian as you all know but not a Catholic. I'm a protestant. My mom says I was born a protestant because I naturally protest everything!!! haha mom, you are, as always, right! But back to this very serious matter: the pope, whose real name is Jorge Bergolio, is 88 years old. This is not like when I was 10 and had double pneumonia (for which I was also hospitalized). even if, and hopefully, when......he recuperates, this can still seriously affect him. The two main concerns here are his age and his condition. As of this writing, he was still in critical condition, but was working from bed and has sent Catholic followers an encouraging message. Here we are praying for his health and that god allows him to serve a few more years. In other, semi-related, news, I received an email today asking me to protest the upcoming production of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl. The reason they want to protest is that Jesus will be played by Cynthia Erivo, a black, bisexual actress, who is dating the also black actress and producer, Lena. Waithe. They are right in that Jesus being played by a woman is, at best, questionable, and, at worst, blasphemous. But they mislabelled Erivo as a lesbianj in their letter, in order to gather more signatures, i bet, since the words lesbian and gay stick out more than the word bisexual. If you are bisexual, at least you like your own gender as well. But if you are gay or lesbian, in these people's eyes, it is worse. My question to the latter is; why the hate? Look, I get it...Jesus being represented by a woman is like, what the heck? But then they had to add she is a "lesbian"-she was, again, as I said, mislabeled because in their anger, they could not see that lesbian and bisexual are two different things. In other news, a woman was caught peeing on items at a supermarket! I mean, wow! It was not me, I promise! This time it really was not me. Maybe Netrat's "next door"? I don't know.....have the products you bought at Tesco or ASDA had a salty taste lately? You better ask Netrat then, if his girl pee...ehem, I mean...shops, at those supermarkets? Haha! ..but not to worry. The woman was caught. She is, quite honestly, unlike most crazy people. pretty hot looking. I wish I had been there when she took down her pants and peed!! The alleged perpetrator is named Kelli Tedford, 23, and she is an internet content creator. I bet her contents will now get many more looks, hoping she films herself committing those felonies she is alleged to have committed! She did it at a Monadnock Food Coop Supermarkets' location in Keene, New Hampshire. She was arrested and booked and her ass will be in jail for a while. That's a women's jail I wish I could be at! Boxer Greg Haugen died recently. This was a surprise death since it was unexpected. He was a two-time world lightweight champion and , to put his career in context, he beat Jimmy Paul (who, along with Hector Camacho and Livingstone Bramble, and, after Bramble was knocked out by Edwin Rosario, Rosario, was considered one of the three heads of the three headed monster that was the Lightweight division of the 1980s) and then, for the second time, when he beat Vinny Paz, and then he won the world Junior Welterweight title by beating Camacho. He also beat a badly faded Ray Mancini in 1992. Camacho and Mancini are members of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, and Paz will be in June of this year. Greg Haugen should also be in the Hall of Fame. Funny thing: when I was 14, and in my "Rocky Balboa-turns to Molly Ringwald-turns back to Rocky Balboa" phase, I used to watch a lot of John Hughes teen films, and one of them was a cycling as sport-dramedy named "Rad". Rad was set in Idaho, and Haugen was from Washington, aka, Idaho's western side next door. Then, in December of 1986, Haugen beat Paul for his first world title, and I thought "girl, not only does he look like the Rad movie guy, but he also talks like him!" Of course, you know...the USA is like the United Kingdom in that sense. To us on this side of the pond, those from London talk similar to those from Southampton. (And in fact, when I was new to the United States, I can tell you that not only that, but I thought those from London spoek similar to those from Australia! And also, when the original Spice Girls came along and I was frenzied by them, I tried to imitate them and one of my friends nicknamed me, I kid you not, "the Australian"! and so you know, to Puerto Ricans that speak English, people from idaho and Washington sound the same when they speak! I haven;t seen much of MY SPice Girls lately, especially Cindy and Deb. I miss them! I spoke to Courtenay and to Jill yesterday. I told Jill she should get her ass to Oklahoma because men there look like Brad Pitt! I've never been to Oklahoma before, but we were talking about Oklahoma. Our friend Star quickly jumped in and said I better stay away from that state because her man, El Manos, comes from there! I swear I had no idea he did, haha and El Manos also jumped and said "Jeanette, don;t even stare this way!" But Jill should get to Oklahoma to see all the Brad Pitts there. There is one particular reason I remembered Brad Pitt: in "Thelma and Louise", he was picked up by the titlar Thelma and Louise during a pitstop in Oklahoma. "Thelma and Louise", like "Rocky" and all the john Hughes teen movies of the 1980s, was marvelous!!! Another thing that is marvelous: no plane crashes this week! Well, this is my second week publishing this blog! , My niece just turned 20 this week. She is gorgeous and reminds me a bit of Jennie Garth, who played Kelly Taylor in one of my favorite 1990s television series, Beverly Hills 90210. Me and my sister used to watch that show's reruns religiously from about 1996 to 1999 or so. Gosh, time has flown by! Talking about time flying by, I noticed that the Goosebumps movie is out! As you all living in the States know, Goosebumps was originally a television show on the Nickelodeon channel some 30 years ago. I was reflecting that  if a movie had come out during 1986 or 1987 and my father had told me the movie was based off a show from 30 years before, that would mean that such a movie was based off a show that was on television when my dad was six years old. Mind you, 1987 was the year I turned 15. I now have a 15year old nephew. We are really, really turning old!!! Last night somebody told me he wishes he could be next to me appreciating the Arizona sunset. "You and the rest of the two pages I am at" I thought. Today I saw it again. It's a combination of red, orange, yellow, blue and brown. The entire thing has given us the nickname, "Sunset State". And no, its not because my old friend from Doghouseboxing.com , porn legend and boxing writer Sunset Thomas, is a resident. Sunset, dear, if you read this, I know you probably do not remember me with this name but I was the one who helped you get the job at Doghouseboxing after we both left the other site, Ringsidereport.com . Anyways, I wish she was. Sunset Thomas is extremely hot and extremely marvelous, a great friend. The Arizona Sunset, on the other hand, is truly one of the best gifts given us by our creator above. It's truly a little piece of Heaven.  So is this computer! I get to write a bit today, it gets saved, then a bit more tomorrow, it gets saved! Marvelous! They say that "remembering is to live again". If that is the case, I then live a lot. Every day. I take about two hours to sit down, listen to music and remember. I remember my friends Hilda, Carmen, Ana and, especially, my then girlfriend Thylvenettsy, by playing the music that we used to sing when in Junior High School we pretended to have a  musical group. We once had a photo session since we actually thought we were a musical group, and Thylvenettsy took the photos to the local Walgreens to make some posters of it. I can only imagine that  poster, with me, arms crossed, against a tree, Thylvenettsy hugging my neck and the three other girls sitting in front of us on the ground, as the cover of our first album!  Then I also remember the other band I was a part of, with my brother Jose and my friends Marcos, Carmelo, Pablo, Eduardo  and Josue and imagine ourselves becoming famous like the Backstreet Boys or Menudo, and think of the names of all the cities we;'d tour, from our native Caguas and its 15,000 seats coliseum to mexico City, Medellin, Buenos Aires, New York, Rio de Janeiro....the names of all the cities roll by in my mind.  Today me and my current group, the "Spice Girls" of online, were actually talking about the NHL. Too bad for one of us that the Toronto Maple Leafs lost their game. Since the NHL left my city, I do not pay as much attention to that sport, but it is what it is. My friend was not happy after today's result. My friends and I are a curious sort. I love boxing and basketball. Two of the other four love Hockey. We can talk sports despite being women!!! I've been told that I am about to get banned from that place because of the sexual jokes I play with some other people. Some of you here know what type of jokes they are. Just in case I have the emails of my Spice Girls so that we can keep being friends and also one of them does come to this page. Joking is my way of showing people that I like them. I love you all. M y name is Jeanette. That is not my real name, actually. My real name is.....sorry..only my family and some of my friends know that. Some of you may know me from chatting with me on this page. I'm good friends ( but not "good friends", if you know my drift )  with my administrator here,  the netrat. We've known each other for years from another place on the internet, where we used to chide each other constantly, in a fun, friend-loving type of way. Despite what he might say that his rep might suffer, we are good buddies, me and him.  I'm also good friends with God. I pray for Him to give me divine inspiration so that I can write to you here. I am a huge boxing and basketball fan. Trust me, I can well talk to you about women's issues as well as about the Jose Luis Castillo   versus Diego Corrales  wars. If you want to become a boxing fanatic, I recommend you look those two up or  the Donnybrook  that was v s Lupe Pintor   I  mean, holy cow! How much punishment can two humans take for the sake of winning? I also love Barbie dolls, Hot Wheels and Matchbox toy cars, and Beverly Hills 90210 and Sex and the City. And, I also love, sex! I hope I can disseminate some sex advice to couples here too in the upcoming future.  I 'm also a transgender woman.  Sex and the City and HBO Boxing were staples of the past in my HBO watching days when I was younger. I have a number of best friends, some of them, men. But my core group of friends is all women. Including, of course, me. They know who they are, but they can rest assured, I won;t comment about them here. I will comment about things i see daily, like a comedian. Comedians do that a lot. They listen to people around them and pick up things here and there. They make jokes that, a lot of times, they heard someone else say. And that's sometimes how things get propagated..... I  wanted to comment real quick on a woman I just learned about. Her name is Vivian Wilson. She is such a great inspiration, She is the daughter of a very famous billionaire. She has gone through a lot in her personal life. I will just say that about her, She is gorgeous and, despite her father's money, seems to have gone through a lot.  O h..a bit more about myself: I am Puerto Rican. Since I was three, I felt I was a woman. People called me boy, and in fact, when I was little, I pretended to be a mechanic like my uncle Luciano, but it really wasn't clicking. I was a girl mechanic. I was a mixed bag quite honestly: I wanted toy cars and Barbies. I only got the cars. I used to watch boxing with the men and soap operas with the women. I was diagnosed with type one Diabetes when I was nine. I once wanted to become a professional boxer and I even got on a boxing ring twice for fights. Boxing is hard! I used to knock all the kids out in school but when I got hit by a real punch, it was over for me. At the same time, quite away from my parents and especially my US Marine father, I was asked to join a girl band in Junior High School. I did and the next 3 months were wonderful for me, as not only did I embark on my first real relationship, but we became quite popular in school. I kid you not: we covered acts as varied as Bon Jon Jovi and Madonna. Suddenly, the entire 8th grade in our school knew the five of us.  I went from wanting to be a boxer to aspiring to be an actress, singer and model. I moved to the United States, worked in the ice cream retail business for a while and then joined a modeling school and agency. People projected some big things for me and I even met many world famous celebrities but the big things, aka, Hollywood, did not happen.  But I am content because I truly believe God wants me here where I am at for a reason.  Some of you say I am beautiful. I do not agree,but whatever, I truly am thankful to God and to my friend the netrat for this opportunity and to you all for thinking of me highly. I don't deserve all the compliments to be quite honest. I hope that in the upcoming months, you, my reader, and I, get to know each other better and develop a relationship that will be enjoyable to both of us.  Oh...I have a dad and a mom, a brother and a sister, three nephews and two nieces who I love with all my heart. And i've had a grand total of nine dogs, some of them have already passed on, they had the names Beauty, Zydian, Cookie, Jonas and Hulk. The ones who are still with me are Max, Honey and Chance. Chance is truly a Christmas miracle bot right now, On December 24th, he was run over by a van, only to get up from the street and run back home!!!   W ho knows what I will write about next week. Hey my perverts! Hiiiiiii! Wow, we are 22 now!!!!! We are more than adults! We are full into this adulthood thing now! The online Spice Girls are still on tour, I am still in love with Georgie Stone and netrat still buys us drinks when our tour bus stops at bars all over Europe. Well, for one my dad is getting better and looking stronger. Dad is 75. He is getting up there in years. Gosh, time flew. I still remember when he had a mustache and was 35 years old. When I was about 4 and he was 26, I saw him as a grand old man because, I mean, percentage-wise, he was, at that time, 6 times older than me. But, as we went on, when I was 13 and he was 35, although he had aged nine years from the time he was 26, instead of being an old man in my eyes, he was more of a young mature man. That is because, in my eyes, and also mathematically, he was not six times older than me anymore but only 2 and a half times older.These days, although he does not even double me in age, he is, well..old. It is what it is. But I love him too much and am blessed he is still around. So, our (not so) favorite transphobe is on the news again...Elon Musk, that is. when Musk thought that having Donald Trump as president of the United States would help him, he was all behind the President (not literally as far as I know but you never know), but now that Trump went crazy with tariffs and all, Musk has taken to the internet to criticise him, specifically a congressional spending bill. ,This has to be the cutest, funniest thing I've read about these two since the elections.Musk took to the X platform to call for people to get outraged about the bill, saying that no one should " be able to stomach it" and that "mammoth spending bills are bankrupting America enough"...I'm sorry, Muskie....you wanted the United States to vote for this, and now you are getting what you wanted. All because you have a transgender daughter that you thought was stolen from you by the LGBT community. Well, you deserve what's taking place. Maybe the rest of us in this country don;t, but YOU do. On the other hand, Donald Trump is said to be getting tired of Musk;s online postings. This coming from a guy who built a political career using online social networks. Oh, the irony....the irony! Two very famous people died in the last few days. First, we have actress Loretta Swift, who was 87. The American was better known for her characterization of Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlhan in the major American television hit sitcom "M.A>S.H.", Swift was a sex symbol back in the 11970s, beginning in 1972. Houlhan was a single woman who had an affair with a married soldier and later got herself married and divorced, a gutsy role for Swift to play during those bygone years. Some conspiracy theorists, who knew nothing about the Pelosi's or Paul Pelosi's attacker, have malignantly said that the man was at the Pelosi home to meet with Paul Pelosi sexually but I ask: if he was, why would he have attacked him, and male it all known by everyone? That doesn't add up. Lou Prevost has also made other posts such as when he said that Barack Obama was racist and other things He has described himself as someone who likes to stir the pot. But when the left are the ones stirring the pot in this country..the right goes up all in arms, and yet no one on that side protests when it's someone from their side saying things.....yikes!! The NBA and NHL playoffs continue. Both are, now, in their championship phase. The NBA finals pits Eastern Conference Champions, the Indiana Pacers, against the Western Conference Champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder. It is the Thunder's first trip to the Finals since 2012, when they lost to the Miami Heat 4 games to 1. For the Pacers, it is their first trip since 2000, when they lost to my dearly hated Los Angeles Lakers (grrrr), 4 games to 2, and their second trip overall. The Thunder won their last title in 1979, when they were known as the Seattle Supersonics. The Pacers have never won the title. Both cities are vying for their first NBA title as a city, despite the fact that the Thunder do have one championship, as it was won when they were in Seattle. Marvelous!!! The NHL, meanwhile, has a rematch of last year;s finals between the winners of those, the Florida Panthers, and the almost-winners, Edmonton oilers. The Oilers almost overcame a 3-0 deficit to win the title. But they lost Game Seven. Fellow Online Spice Girl Jill and I are rooting for the Oilers because it would be the first time in 33 years that a team from Canada wins the Stanley Cup. My prostate cancer This is my journey 18/12/2023 Went to see doc about a pain I had in my side . he said maybe you should have a PSA blood test (prostate specific antigen (PSA). something showed up so I was then sent for a ultrasound scan and more worry come up in that so now they sent me for MRI scan (Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) now this showed up something and doc said he thinks I might have prostate cancer omg I was well worried at this point. so my next step was to go and have a biopsy A biopsy is a procedure to remove a piece of tissue or a sample of cells from your body so that it can be tested in a laboratory . after the results they found I had aggressive prostate cancer . that was it i thought shit man this is bad now😬 25/1/2024 so now they said they need to make sure it aint spread so I was sent for CT scan and bone scan and I am waiting on those results . it seems the waiting time on scans these days are up to 2 weeks. when ya worried two weeks seems like a bloody long time but the nurse I have said not to worry as prostate cancer is very slow growing I have spoke with the doctor about what procedure to have . he said I havta pick what i want . like i had a clue about what ta choose . now I'm reading up on weather to have the prostate removed or just have radiotherapy . (Radiotherapy involves using radiation to kill cancerous cells) 07/02/2024 2 weeks and I'm back in to see doc . doc says the last results show it aint spread so that's a bit of nice news .so now I have decided to have it chopped out . I had two options radiotherapy or robotic surgery and I went for the surgery as my cancer is aggressive and from what I have read about it its the best option to have surgery as i can have radiotherapy if needed after the operation but had I went for radiotherapy and not the operation I wouldn't have the chance to have the operation if needed after having the radiotherapy Most of the stuff they say goes in one ear and out the other so its a good job her indoors is there with me . omg the stuff you havta have after the surgery like a piss bag for ten days . and nappies there after . fuckin rep will be in tatters that's for sure lol anyway I'm now just waiting on a meeting with the surgeon who will do the surgery . They say the wait could be a couple more weeks and the operation could be within 2 months so ill see you on the next update 21/3/2024 Had my appointment today with the consultant after what seems a long time for it ta seem such a waist of time as it wasn't for my pre op they just wanted to ask me the same stuff. but he did say my operation should be around may of this year . I guess ill get my pre op between now and then fingers crossed . i was going to have a go at them about it but thought better not as ya wouldn't have a go at the chef before he cooked ya meal would ya lol. cya on the next update 06/12/2024 ok I'm back I know its been a long time since my last post but I was going to give up on this blog but I have been told it can help . so I have had the operation to remove my prostate with robotic surgery doc said it all went well at the time . omg I must mention this . I had a piss bag for 2 weeks and that was the worst part of the whole thing for me thank god I only had it for two weeks. also had them nasty injections for 48 days and I hadta do them myself and that wasn't pleasant at all. had my first check up with doc in July 2024 psa blood test come back ok but doc told me that they are unsure if they got it all as it shows that the cancer got past my lymph nodes Second check up with doc and things don't look so great as the cancer did get past the lymph nodes :-( they said the first blood test I had would have showed up as not having a high count but this test has showed that it did get past the lymph nodes so now I havta wait for my next psa blood test in January and then onto treatment I guess . (Sex) omg what is that lol . seen the nurse and she gave me Viagra and it didn't work .tried it a few times and gave up all hope of a sex life . my next time with the nurse she gave me a pump with a cock ring and to my surprise the lil fella come back :-) it sure is kinda weird having orgasm with out the mess lol . the nurse said it might all come back in a couple of years so I live in hope as the pump works but what a lot of bother ta get a hardon right ill see you all again in January and I hope it's good news as all the scans and blood tests do get me down a bit https://prostatecanceruk.org/ 14/1/2025 had blood test today for when I see doctor (I don't know fancy name for him so ill say doc lol)also seen the nurse again and she asked me how I was getting on with sex and the pump . that bloody pump is a lot of bother but it does wake the lil fella up lol . she said it takes time to come back to normal so keep using the pump . she did ask me again if I wanted the injection into me dick . I said . no bloody way am I sticking a needle in me dick lol . ok that's it for now cya the end of the month fingers crossed its good news 23/01/2025 It's kind of weird how you change your look on life when you get a cancer diagnoses. You tend ta notice more things in life and the weird part is ya don't worry about the same things you did before had my blood tests looked at and seen doc again today and its all good news as my scans and blood tests all come back as undetectable. im free and rang the bell at hospital as I left . now I just havta have blood test and see doc every 6 months lets hope my cancer journey is behind me now . just hope that I had seen doc early and saved all the bother I have been through the past year id just like to say thanks to everyone that has supported me with messages and such as it has helped me . and once again if your a male over 30 please go and have the blood test and if they get it early you don't need to have the prostate removed as I have love NetRat iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii 14/5/2025 Well its been a year now and i am doing really well the results of testing are all coming back good and things seem to be getting back to normal . No more nappies and the lil fella seems ta be waking up with out the use of that bloody pump and ring iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Fingers still crossed for the next results . i guess ill be doing this for the rest of my life though . Ya know that lil worry in ya head that the cancer will rase its ugly head again in some other area but i'm still thinking positive and just getting on with life as i wont let that worry get to me as we all have that lil thing in ya head when ya feel a pain ya think omg it could be the big C . Hi everyone! Finally! We made it! We are adults! 18! Too bad we can't still legally drink! But I bet we can get one below the counter, right? Lol j/k. On a personal note, this last week was a ride for me also! I got proposed to and then got told that I am hoping for 600,000 babies to die when I explained to someone that if abortion was illegalized, underground clinics would pop up, putting the lives of many women-women who are somebody's daughter-at risk. I explained to this person again, that I agree that abortion is murder 98 percent of the time, but.......they need to be kept legal because if a pro-lifers' daughter goes and gets one behind her parents' back and dies, then the pro-lifer will repenting of opposing abortion if they truly loved their daughter. But he seemed to be a decent man. In fact, he used to pay his hotel tabs when he travelled and, I heard that Popes are forbidden by the church to sign autographs for fans but he had a personal rule that if you proved him that your autograph was for a personal collection by showing him a photo of your autograph collection, he would indeed sign one for you This tells me of a humble man. Pope Francis, who was born Jorge Bergolgio, was the first Latin American pope and he was, in fact, the first one born outside Europe. A new Pope will be elected soon, and there are rumors this time it will be a Black man from Africa. We';'ll see! Another one who reportedly died was 41-year old Virginia Giuffre, the American-Australian campagner for the rights of sA victims. As you may remember, she was involved in a car accident recently in Australia, and was given four days to survive due to renal failure, But she survived that crisis. She was involved in the Jeffrey Epsetein case and was allegedly a victim of several powerful men as a minor. among those she mentioned was Prince Andrew. SA is a very serious matter and we do not joke around things like these. We had been praying for her, but news came on April 25th that she had apparently unalived herself. Our hearts are crying for her and her family and children... And our condolences go to the Catholic family worldwide as well as the Pope's family and friends and the Giuffre family and her friends as well. Now to the more better news!! Some of my friends in the Phoenix, Arizona, area reported having seen a UFOBlue Origin, the spacecraft that took off from El Paso, Texas, on what was a ten minutes flight with lights and stuff on the night of April 14th. What they had no idea was that, right on top of them were the world famous American singer Katy Perry, news anchor Gayle King, Lauren Sanchez who became the first Puerto Rican woman in space, and three other gorgeous women. Lauren Sanchez is engaged to Jeff Bezos, owner of Blue Origin, the spacecraft that took them. They returned, after such a brif flight, to Texas, landing at Van Horn, a small town. Hi perv..ehem, I mean, people! Wow, we are turning sixteen already! Sweet sixteen! Sixteen weeks writing here, that is, which means, four months!! Time really flies!!! I remember when I was a twelve year old hirl and the world was just ahead of me. My grandfather used to drive me to Gerardo Selles Sola junior high in Caguas, Puerto rico, and I would get down there and buy a bag of doritos before heading to class. I wanted to become a professional boxer and, quite frankly, spent my days in school more daydreaming about potential world championship fights-both among real boxers and involving me-than studying. Then we moved to a town named Cayey, where I hit 13, met a girl named Thylvenetssie Hernandez and, for the first time, started living like a real teenager. My hormones were going crazy, and so...she and her friends thought they had a musical band, invited me to join and we used to put shows on stage for students and teachers, using my tape recorder, we pretended to be singers and dancers and it was all great. We became known across cayey, which is admittedly, a pretty small town. But, in that way, I can say I tasted a bit of fame, and we covered everything, from Madonna to Duran Duran-the reason she invited me, because, you know, me, being a woman with a penus, i was needed for when they wanted to perform boy songs! Anyways... Everyone knew us. More importantly, me and Thylvenetssiee were in love and the other girls, Ana, Carmen and, especially, Hilda, said they were my sisters all the time.. I absolutely loved that! we dreamed about traveling the world together as a band, and singing and dancing our own songs and appearing on the covers of magazines and recording albums, flying all over the world, being welcomed at airports, being interviewed on television and recording great videos and maybe film a movie or two, all the while me and Thylvenettsie and the 3 other girls being together all over, along with our parents, and, of course, just being 13 year olds at hotels all over the world! It was my first taste of teenagehood. And now, it's all flown. Time has flown by, for sure!! One song that I loved to perform and people asked us to perform was Pual mcCartney and Michael Jackson's Say Say Say......"Say, say say, what you want but dont play games, with my affection!" Marrrvelouuuusssss!!!We were knwon as The Fantastic Five. Separately, I also belonged to a group that included me and my friends Ruben, Ricky, William and Javier, but in that group, we didnt sing. I want to start this week with a few reflections: A few days ago, I headed to the store to buy stuff, 150 dollars of my 300 dollars I get a month since netrat is a cheapo who does not pay me for this column! This is truly an act of love to you!! And on the way there, I saw a car accident that involved 5 cars! I drove by but thought about the people involved in the crash, and then I began to think about God. And the truth is that the concept we have about God,...I mean, we get Him both right and wrong all the time. We get Him right because we can read what it says about Him in the Bible, or in other religious books and the computer. But the truth is that humankind has tried to figure God forever, and He is immense, so we cannot truly grasp Him 100 percent. I read nce God is so big, we can never even see His heels!.if that is the case then, no one can ever fully understand the spirit of God. We can only partially understand it, but not completely. And so it could be that we all get Him right and also wrong, because we are mere humans and not meant to understand each other 100 percent, let alone a being that is so large that it is larger than the universe. This, to me, is an amazing thing. So....on to the news! No deaths this week, only good news! Last week, we reported about an accident that took place in Western Australia involving the sadly infamous Virginia Giuffre, who came into the spotlight when she courageously stepped out and detailed the alleged actions between her, Prince Andrew and other powerful men at Jeffrey Epstein's island. she was involved in a collision with a school bus and was given four days to live after it but is still hanging on, luckily. That is good news but we keep on praying for her. She deserves a very long, happy and blessed life after all she went through earlier in it. I hope that next week, we keep on reporting more good news about her improving. Her family and, especially, her children, need her. Lyle and Erik Menendez gained infamy some thirty years ago for murdering their father Jose and mother Mary Louise after Jose allegedly did unspeakable things to them and Mary Louse apparently allowed it to happen. They were sentenced in 1996 to life in prison without the possibility of parole. But, there is a ray of hope for the brothers, because in 2023, rumors surfaced that former Menudo member Roy Rossello was also victimized by their father Jose. Rossello also has accused Menudo manager Edgardo Fiaz of SA'ing Rossello in the past. A photo also surfaced showing Rossello and other members of Menudo alongside Diaz and Jose Menendez after Menendez had signed the band to his record label. All things considered, the Menendez brothers could be potentially released from prison. "We have a phrase we call 'speaking shame'. It's helping people find their voice in their trauma. And we think there's a hunger for that in the country, and we would love to be a part of that and heal in that way". Oh course, his reaction was to look at me, all 6 feet 5 inches of him (tall for a 15-year old!) looking down at my 5 feet 6 inches frame, and going "ha, ha!" lmao! Great memories, for sure! Well, once again, we begin this week with tragic news. One day after the death of George Foreman, the boxing world was again saddened by the death of one of their famous, former world lightweight champion Livingstone Bramble of the Caribbean nation of St. Kitts. Bramble became champion in 1984, knocking out hall of famer Ray Mancini, who was the world champion. Bramble was quite the character! He allegedly practiced voodoo, had a snake named dog and a dog named snake, and took to changing his name like singer Prince, becoming Ras-I-Bramble and Abuja Bramble. The joke in the boxing media was that soon, he, also like Prince who eventually became "The Artist Formerly Known as Prince", would soon be known as "The Boxer Formerly Known as Livingstone Bramble!". After winning the world title and 24 of his first 26 fights, he lost the title to the Puerto Rican Edwin Rosario and then, his career went off the rails, as he lost 25 of his next 43 bouts, winning only 16 and tying 2. Even so, he remained a positive personality and stayed close to the sport. Bramble, who was actually a Rastafarian, died on the 22nd of March, aged 64. The second important death that happened recently was just reported hours ago, as the great American Hollywood actor, Val Kilmer, has just died! Kilmer, 65, is best remembered as rock legend Jim Morrison in the 1991 biopic The Doors and as Doc Holliday, the legendary American western lawman, in the 1993 biopic about Holliday's good friend, Wyatt Earp and the gunfight that involved them against the gang known as the Cochise County Cowboys. I actually went to the exact place where the real-life gunfight took place! I peed inside a train wagon that remains there. She was taken to a hospital, where she was informed that due to severe renal failure, she had four days to live. On the 20th, we learned of the death of Puerto Rican wrestling legend, Julio Domingo Estrada Caceres, better known as Rico Suave. Rico Suave began wrestling at the tender age of 14, helped by his father, jose Estrada Sr., who is himself better known as one half of the Super Medics wrestling team. When I was growing up, every boy and girl in Puerto Rico knew the Super Medics were going to fight The Invaders next Saturday for the tag team world championship (world as in, Puerto Rico world that is, but they didn't tell anyone that!) That was a classic rivalry! But Rico Suave, the son of one of the Super Medics, sadly passed away at the age of 54. of heart failure in Vero Beach, Florida. He had been scheduled to have open heart surgery but, tragically, did not make it to the operating table. Suave was active in Puerto Rico's World Wrestling Council and he also managed some famous wrestlers such as Greg Valentine, Jim Steele and Chiky Starr. He feuded with Puerto Rico's foremost wrestler, WWE hall of fame member, Carlitos Colon. In boxing, on the 21st, we learned of the parting of the legendary, two-time world Heavyweight champion, George Foreman. Foreman was a funny, intelligent and faithful old man who at the age of 46, became the oldest boxer in history to win the world heavyweight title in November of 1994. The only thing that was not funny about him was, for example, getting hit by him and bounced off the canvas constantly, as he did with another legendary boxer, joe Frazier, in 1973. Foreman was undefeated in 41 fights, with 38 knockouts, when he and Frazier faced off in Kingston, jamaica.But Frazier was also undefeated, the world heavyweight champion, and he had just beaten the guy everyone considers the greatest boxer of all times, Muhammad Ali! Foreman made Frazier look like he had taken too many daiquiris on the Jamaican beaches when they met for the first time. He dropped Frazier six times in two rounds, bouncing him as if Frazier was just a tennis ball Foreman was dropping to the floor. The first knockdown that night produced the now iconic Howard Cossell call "Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier!", a call which has been heard around the world in the decades since. Foreman went on to lose the title against Ali, then had a religious experience in Puerto Rico after losing a fight there against jimmy Young, retired, became an ordained pastor, returned in 1987, and, against all the odds, became both a media phenomenon when he started pitching products and brands on television like the Meineke car fixing shop locations, and the George Foreman grill, a cooking device from which he was able to profit $200 Million dollar, and a world heavyweight champion for the second time, when he knocked out Michael moorer in ten rounds in November of 1994, prompting his HBO co-commentator, Jim Lampley, to say another now famous phrase, "It happened! It happened!". Oh, yes, I forgot, Foreman had a long and distinguished career as an HBO Boxing commentator along with Lampley and Larry Merchant. He was also a sometime actor and executive film producer. His series, George, in which he attempted at being a comedian in the Bill Cosby vein, was unsuccessful and lasted only six chapters on AMerican television in the 1990s. But hey, I give him credit at least for trying on the latter! And, most importantly, he was a man of God, pastoring the Church of The Lord Jesus Christ in Houston, Texas, and becoming its pastor in 1980. In boxing, he had 81 fights, of which he won 76 and lost only 5, with 68 wins and only the Ali defeat by knockout. He had a marvelousssssss life!!! More horrible news came from TikToker JoozyB, who alleged that she was SA'd by Impractical Jokers series member and comedian Joe Gatto when she was 19. The Tiktoker said, on a video released on March 20, that "(she) got assaulted by Joe Gatto, the Impractical Joker". In another video, she alleged that, on September of 2023, when Gatto was in Milwaukee for a theatrical performance, she, her sister and her mother ran to him at a restaurant and asked to take a photo with him. he obliged, according to the allegations, and then, they shared messages as she was hoping to score a couple of tickets to his show. In other news, the cast of the Argentine children;s show, Chiquititas, announced they are returning to television for a reunion series! This is great news for their fans. In 1995, Chiquititas first lit up our screens as the story of a group of orphans living in a donated major and who armed our hearts with their individual stories. A childrens' dramedy, the show was full with jokes and funny scenes mixed with heart breaking ones and stories that warmed our souls. In 2005, I started receiving Argentina's television channel, Telefe, and watching reruns of the show. Many of it's stars went on to become legends in Argentina, including Celeste Cid, Luisana Lopilato, Agustina Cherri, Ezequiel Castano, Camila Bordonaba, Benjamin Rojjas and Argentine-Mexican Felipe Colombo. Colombo, Rojas, Lopilato and Bordonaba even went on to international fame as members of the rock group "Erreway" ("Our Way") which inspired other groups such as the Mexican group "Rebelde" (which also achieved international fame) and other similar groups in places as far as india. And Lopilato is now married to Canadian international singing star Michael Buble! But, back to Chiquititas, a group of actors who acted in it said they are working with Telefe for a reboot of the series, where this time they would play their old characters but as adults. They intend to dedicate the series to late actress Romina Yan, who played their head master "Belen Fraga" in the original series but who died at the young age of 36 of a heart attack in 2010. Denver Nuggets and my beloved Boston Celtics vying for the title! The Celtics are the defending champions and hoping to win their NBA-leading 19th championship. This would separate them a bit more from the Los Angeles Lakers, who have 17. And, talking about our dearly hated Lakers, they got eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Timberwolves! ha haaaa! With Luka Doncic on board, I am afraid the Lakers may come alive next year but if the Celtics win that would mean that, at least for two more years, we'd be sole owners of the title of "most championship won"!
