Hola amigos! Como esta? Just kidding! You know what that means, right? It means how are you. You should know by now, 14 weeks into this adventure: I am your Puerto Rican choca, your Puerto Rican diva. I was born speaking Spanish (well, baby talk actually, I learned my Spanish later.) I.m here, under my sheets, talking to you. I'm sure many of you wish you could be under these sheets playing with me! Netrat is not one of them. Drat! He has his next door, so it's ok.

So, we begin this week's blog with tragic news, both on the Wrestling and Boxing worlds. On the 20th, we learned of the death of Puerto Rican wrestling legend, Julio Domingo Estrada Caceres, better known as Rico Suave. Rico Suave began wrestling at the tender age of 14, helped by his father, jose Estrada Sr., who is himself better known as one half of the Super Medics wrestling team. When I was growing up, every boy and girl in Puerto Rico knew the Super Medics were going to fight The Invaders next Saturday for the tag team world championship (world as in, Puerto Rico world that is, but they didn't tell anyone that!) That was a classic rivalry! But Rico Suave, the son of one of the Super Medics, sadly passed away at the age of 54. of heart failure in Vero Beach, Florida. He had been scheduled to have open heart surgery but, tragically, did not make it to the operating table.

Suave was active in Puerto Rico's World Wrestling Council and he also managed some famous wrestlers such as Greg Valentine, Jim Steele and Chiky Starr. He feuded with Puerto Rico's foremost wrestler, WWE hall of fame member, Carlitos Colon.

In boxing, on the 21st, we learned of the parting of the legendary, two-time world Heavyweight champion, George Foreman. Foreman was a funny, intelligent and faithful old man who at the age of 46, became the oldest boxer in history to win the world heavyweight title in November of 1994. The only thing that was not funny about him was, for example, getting hit by him and bounced off the canvas constantly, as he did with another legendary boxer, joe Frazier, in 1973. Foreman was undefeated in 41 fights, with 38 knockouts, when he and Frazier faced off in Kingston, jamaica. But Frazier was also undefeated, the world heavyweight champion, and he had just beaten the guy everyone considers the greatest boxer of all times, Muhammad Ali! Foreman made Frazier look like he had taken too many daiquiris on the Jamaican beaches when they met for the first time. He dropped Frazier six times in two rounds, bouncing him as if Frazier was just a tennis ball Foreman was dropping to the floor. The first knockdown that night produced the now iconic Howard Cossell call "Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier!", a call which has been heard around the world in the decades since. Foreman went on to lose the title against Ali, then had a religious experience in Puerto Rico after losing a fight there against jimmy Young, retired, became an ordained pastor, returned in 1987, and, against all the odds, became both a media phenomenon when he started pitching products and brands on television like the Meineke car fixing shop locations, and the George Foreman grill, a cooking device from which he was able to profit $200 Million dollar, and a world heavyweight champion for the second time, when he knocked out Michael moorer in ten rounds in November of 1994, prompting his HBO co-commentator, Jim Lampley, to say another now famous phrase, "It happened! It happened!". Oh, yes, I forgot, Foreman had a long and distinguished career as an HBO Boxing commentator along with Lampley and Larry Merchant. He was also a sometime actor and executive film producer. His series, George, in which he attempted at being a comedian in the Bill Cosby vein, was unsuccessful and lasted only six chapters on AMerican television in the 1990s. But hey, I give him credit at least for trying on the latter! And, most importantly, he was a man of God, pastoring the Church of The Lord Jesus Christ in Houston, Texas, and becoming its pastor in 1980. In boxing, he had 81 fights, of which he won 76 and lost only 5, with 68 wins and only the Ali defeat by knockout. He had a marvelousssssss life!!!

More horrible news came from TikToker JoozyB, who alleged that she was SA'd by Impractical Jokers series member and comedian Joe Gatto when she was 19. The Tiktoker said, on a video released on March 20, that "(she) got assaulted by Joe Gatto, the Impractical Joker". In another video, she alleged that, on September of 2023, when Gatto was in Milwaukee for a theatrical performance, she, her sister and her mother ran to him at a restaurant and asked to take a photo with him. he obliged, according to the allegations, and then, they shared messages as she was hoping to score a couple of tickets to his show. He gave her the tickets plus meet-and-greet tickets She went by herself to the meet and greet and then, she went to party with her friend, during which she and Gatto, according to her, kept on texting each other. SHe says that is when things got muddy, as she received information-all this is according to her-from him about which hotel he was staying at, then she went to visit him and "some stuff happened". She claims that "(she has) been wanting to tell people this for so long, i've, like, tried in different ways, but it's hard with somebody this big. I've come to the realization that, if I do say something, that I'm really saying something!",adding that "Yes, he did SA me, yes, he had JUST gotten back together with his wife, I'm sorry, you guys don;t wanna hear it, but"...

Let's just say this: if it happened, this is horrible. No one ever wants to be SA.

On to the lighter side of things..my dog Chancer just fa......errr...ok, you really don;t want to know about that!

But, yes...in other news...we heard about Jan Patrick Rosado Colon, a young Puerto Rican veterinary wh was born in my grandmother's adopted city of Ponce and now lives in Sydney, Australia, where he takes care of diverse animals such as Kangaroos and Koalas. Imagine this: a person born in Puerto Rico, ends up in Australia, which, give and take, takes about 20 hours by plane non-stop, and becomes a Koala and Kangaroo doctor! That's just like me and Netrat joining a safari in South Africa, getting married and taking care of...what is it they have in South Africa anyways, lions? Tigers? Zebras?...ahh..I don't know...but netrat won';t marry me! Hey..a girl can dream!!!lol...no, seriously..he won;t marry me, he is not into girls like me!

Parker Posey is on the news again! The AMerican actress, who plays North Carolinian Victoria Ratliff on a television shw named WHite Lotus, went on American television talk show Late Night With Seth Meyers and claimed that North Carolinians love her North Carolinian accent. Try repeating North Carolinian several times in a row like I just did! Hah! But anyways, Posey seems to be quite happy with the reaction she has gotten from North Carolinians Posey, who grew up in Laurel, Mississippi and in Monroe, Louisiana, had years to practice i don't know, maybe it's that "Australians sound like British" thing again, but to me, all Southern accents sound the same. I don't think Posey agrees with me, though. Because, obviously, since she is talking about the North Carolinian accent, it means she distinguishes it from the Louisianian and Mississipian ones? .I don;t know..to me Y'all sound the same!

Marvelous!!!

Talking about British...my fellow Spice Girl Courtenay "introduced" me recently to a singer named Johnny Marr, of The Smiths. He is 61 and very handsome for his age. But when I saw him, what I could notice was his Tony Montana resemblance! The only thing he needs is a white suit and a Cuban cigar and ta-da! Voila! He becomes Tomy Marrtana!

Also on the news are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. They always are! this time, it was over a visit that brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate made to the West home after being accused, in the United Kingdom and the United States, of SA., during Kim's daughter North's parental visit with Kanye. Kardashian called for an emergency custody hearing, obviously afraid for her daughter's safety. On March 14, West and Kardashian sat down with their lawyers to meet after North and Sean Combs (yes, THAT Sean Combs) were featured on West's single "Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine". West has been involved in controversy recently, saying that the Kardashians are s.x traffickers and that he questions the mental abilities of Jay-Z's and Beyonce's 7 year old twins.

Like, what's wrong with this dude? He needs his meds pronto!

Another TikTok video showed the moment that a Cunard cruise crew announced on loud speakers the moment they passed by pirate-infested waters. On their way from Darwin, Australia, to Manila, Philippines, the cruise named Queen Anne, passed by the Sulu-Celebes sea, but that's when things got scary. Passengers were told the ship would be operating under a "heightened level of security at this period" and told to hide valuables away. Making people shit on their pants and older passengers' blood pressure to go off the roof, I'm sure! Like, why not try another approach? Such as, not passing by that area maybe? The sea is wide open! Add a stop at anothe rport and a day or two! Don't risk getting stopped by the pirates and, also, giving a passenger a heart attack!

March madness has started! people in the U.S. will be watching college basketball for a while!

Last, but not least, my mom's birthday is coming on the 25th. She was a model who was once involved in fashion shows and was used by, among others, the famous hair stylist, Junito Resto! And she is the best mom ever! Happy Birthday mom!

I love you, mom, and God, me and Netrat love you all as always! God bless! C-ya in another 6 or 7 days!!!

Oh, and Jill, Deb, Court and Cindy love you all too (ok, maybe they, except Jill, don't know you, but who cares about that tiny little detail, right?)
