Hiiiiiii! Wow, we are 22 now!!!!! We are more than adults! We are full into this adulthood thing now! The online Spice Girls are still on tour, I am still in love with Georgie Stone and netrat still buys us drinks when our tour bus stops at bars all over Europe. I suspect some of our drinks may also be paid by our big fan Chancer, who I suspect drops by here too sometimes and reads this column.

So, what has taken place this whole week? Well, for one my dad is getting better and looking stronger. Dad is 75. He is getting up there in years. Gosh, time flew. I still remember when he had a mustache and was 35 years old. When I was about 4 and he was 26, I saw him as a grand old man because, I mean, percentage-wise, he was, at that time, 6 times older than me. But, as we went on, when I was 13 and he was 35, although he had aged nine years from the time he was 26, instead of being an old man in my eyes, he was more of a young mature man. That is because, in my eyes, and also mathematically, he was not six times older than me anymore but only 2 and a half times older.These days, although he does not even double me in age, he is, well..old. It is what it is. But I love him too much and am blessed he is still around.

So, our (not so) favorite transphobe is on the news again...Elon Musk, that is. when Musk thought that having Donald Trump as president of the United States would help him, he was all behind the President (not literally as far as I know but you never know), but now that Trump went crazy with tariffs and all, Musk has taken to the internet to criticise him, specifically a congressional spending bill. ,This has to be the cutest, funniest thing I've read about these two since the elections.Musk took to the X platform to call for people to get outraged about the bill, saying that no one should " be able to stomach it" and that "mammoth spending bills are bankrupting America enough"...I'm sorry, Muskie....you wanted the United States to vote for this, and now you are getting what you wanted. All because you have a transgender daughter that you thought was stolen from you by the LGBT community. Well, you deserve what's taking place. Maybe the rest of us in this country don;t, but YOU do. On the other hand, Donald Trump is said to be getting tired of Musk;s online postings. This coming from a guy who built a political career using online social networks. Oh, the irony....the irony!

Two very famous people died in the last few days. First, we have actress Loretta Swift, who was 87. The American was better known for her characterization of Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlhan in the major American television hit sitcom "M.A>S.H.", Swift was a sex symbol back in the 11970s, beginning in 1972. Houlhan was a single woman who had an affair with a married soldier and later got herself married and divorced, a gutsy role for Swift to play during those bygone years. Swift endeared herself to millions of fans during that era, not only because of her external beauty but because of the earnest way in which she played her character at a time in which women's liberation was seen as an aberration )it still is by many but to a much lesser extent these days).Loretta Swift must have been every young man's fantasy back then and a few women's too, and she was seen by other women as a trailblazer for playing Houlhan. As a curiosity, she was not the first actress to play Houlhan: that honor went to the also beautiful Sally Kellerman, who died in 2022 and who played her in a movie before the show premiered.

The other famous person to die these last few days was Jamaican boxer Mike McCallum. McCallum, 68 when he died, became Jamaica's first professional boxing world champion when he defeated Sean Mannion of Ireland for the World Boxing Association's vacant world Junior Middleweight title in 1984. He was a great champion too, winning other championships and defeating great ones like International Boxing Hall of Fame members Donald Curry and Julian Jackson, and Milton McCrory. In 1987, behind on all the scorecards on points, he landed a holy-cow, what was that? punch on Curry's chin in round five to flatten him to the floor and win the bout by a fifth-round knockout. McCallim was known for this ability to take a punch: in 55 fights, never was he ever even dropped to the floor and that includes his fight with Jackson, generally considered the hardest hitting boxer in the sport's history.

Pope Leo XIV is on the news again, but this time it's not positive news, and this time it's not news he created himself: his brother Lou Prevost, apparently trying to gain some attention, posted a video accusing Nancy Pelosi of being a drunk and her husband of using the gay meeting app, Grindr. According to The Guardian, Louis went to Facebook and made the allegations. He then went to the Piers Morgan show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, where he commented that "(he) wouldn't have posted it if (he) didn't kind of believe it"......as some of you may remember, Paul Peloso was attacked during 2022 by a far right member of the public, in his house. Some conspiracy theorists, who knew nothing about the Pelosi's or Paul Pelosi's attacker, have malignantly said that the man was at the Pelosi home to meet with Paul Pelosi sexually but I ask: if he was, why would he have attacked him, and male it all known by everyone? That doesn't add up. Lou Prevost has also made other posts such as when he said that Barack Obama was racist and other things He has described himself as someone who likes to stir the pot.

But when the left are the ones stirring the pot in this country..the right goes up all in arms, and yet no one on that side protests when it's someone from their side saying things.....yikes!!

The NBA and NHL playoffs continue. Both are, now, in their championship phase. The NBA finals pits Eastern Conference Champions, the Indiana Pacers, against the Western Conference Champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder. It is the Thunder's first trip to the Finals since 2012, when they lost to the Miami Heat 4 games to 1. For the Pacers, it is their first trip since 2000, when they lost to my dearly hated Los Angeles Lakers (grrrr), 4 games to 2, and their second trip overall. The Thunder won their last title in 1979, when they were known as the Seattle Supersonics. The Pacers have never won the title. Both cities are vying for their first NBA title as a city, despite the fact that the Thunder do have one championship, as it was won when they were in Seattle.

The NHL, meanwhile, has a rematch of last year;s finals between the winners of those, the Florida Panthers, and the almost-winners, Edmonton oilers. The Oilers almost overcame a 3-0 deficit to win the title. But they lost Game Seven. Fellow Online Spice Girl Jill and I are rooting for the Oilers because it would be the first time in 33 years that a team from Canada wins the Stanley Cup. No, the rumor that the cuo was named after one of my lovers is not true! I have many lovers but I don't ask for their names, just their credit card numbers! And so, also , when we take a break from our busy schedule, me and netrat may break off our tour schedule to fly to Edmonton to get a few drinks there or ito Florida...if you see a beautiful redhead with curvy legs and a crusty but handsome fella with a British accent...drat!, it probably will not be us!!!!
